Texas Blues was inspired by a small Blue Bonnet I saw while walking in Clark Garden’s outside of Mineral Wells, TX. It was growing outside the elevated garden designated for the blue bonnets all by itself. It immediately grabbed my attention because it was surrounded by the gravel of the path it was growing on, drawing my eye to it immediately (Pun intended). The color was done in Prisma Color Pencil.
